| Before becoming an artist, Amanda Clyne was an ambitious corporate lawyer, working as a senior associate at a top international law firm in New York City. But by 2005, her love of art had surpassed her legal ambitions and she was compelled to abandon her legal practice. Since that time, she has pursued a diversified art practice, including painting, photography, sewing and collage. In 2007, Amanda had her first solo show at David Kaye Gallery in Toronto, and was the recipient of the Elizabeth Blackwell scholarship from the Women’s Art Association. Amanda received her first major commission in 2006 from Astra Zeneca Pharmaceuticals Inc., and her paintings and photographs have been collected internationally. |
