Diego Samper is an artist who works on different media: photography, oil and watercolour painting, ink drawing, etching, monotypes, one of a kind books, and assembled objects made of natural and recycled materials: wood, iron, stones, feathers, leather, hair and vegetal fibers. His background in biology and anthropology and his life long interest in natural history and tribal cultures are reflected in all of his work. His work has been shown in solo and collective exhibitions in Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa. |
