| The Elliott Louis Gallery provides
the old world custom of commissioned portrait painting. Several of the artists that
we represent are extensively trained and experienced portrait painters. Portraits are painted either from life, from photographs, or by using a mixture of sittings with additional reference to photographs. Portraits may consist of more than one individual and may include various backgrounds. The work can involve either a head/shoulders or full body, and depending upon client requirements and the artist, can utilize oils or pastels. For further information, please contact the gallery.
