Cloud Portraits
The sky could be described as an aerial ocean of restless air. Over the city of Vancouver, the constant "restless" winds move and shape the minute water droplets and ice particles that appear as clouds. The "Cloud Portraits"
series is comprised of five drawings that take both personal observation and contemporary weather vocabulary as their source.

| Biography |
“At its best art practice is an activity of quiet excitement. In my case, drawing with a pencil or and ink pen on paper is very quiet. The excitement is generated by unexpected discoveries. These are most often the result of careful seeing, together with the use of chance as an agent in art production. A series of drawings with a single source allows for an extended exploration."
