Mrs Laura Adeline (Muntz) Lyall, born of Alsatian and Polish parentage at Radford, England. Came to Canada at an early age, the family settling on a farm in the Muskoka district, Ontario. Her first lessons were from J.W.L. Forster in
Hamilton. Became a school teacher, then studied art at the Academie Colarossi, Paris. Returned to Toronto. A.R.C.A. in 1895. Died in Toronto.
