John Korner 1913- John Korner (or Koerner) born at Novy Jicin, Czechoslovakia. Studied in Prague with F. Kausak, 1931-1934, and in Paris with Othon Friesz, 1938-1939. Also studied the history of art at the University of Paris. Moved to Vancouver in 1939. Teaches at the Vancouver School of Art. Has painted several murals.
