My work originates from a certain point of view. With an assiduous imagination, I capture
moments from that point of view. Most regard what is seen in everyday life as ordinary and uninspiring. I see Art. Accepting everything as Art induces me to appreciate my surroundings on a different level.
I'm
constantly searching and taking in everything while exploring the inner workings of our cities and countryside.
One can see within the work a surreal approach to the perceived banality of our environs.

Biography |
An emerging photographer & filmmaker, Jesse Savath is quickly establishing himself as one of Canada’s young talents to watch for. Jesse has been showing his work for just over two years now, and in that time has made some serious moves and isn’t slowing down anytime soon. With a handful of group shows in Vancouver and his first solo exhibit in Toronto, he’s taking his work to the next level. Jesse is a member of the Cartelera Talent House collective, a group of highly skilled artists/photographers working out of Vancouver.
Though photography plays a big part in his life, Jesse has been working just as hard to prove himself as a director. Having started his career as Ben Harper’s personal videographer for three and a half years, he has directed two short films and three live footage videos for the alt rocker, and was one of two photographers featured in an album’s cover art. Jesse’s work with Ben has led him to work with such artists as Jack Johnson, Kid Koala, Z-Trip, DJ Logic, DJ Greyboy, and Tom Freund as a videographer. Jesse has directed music videos for Curtis Santiago, Woodhands, Steve Rio, Colin James. He was also nominated for the Don Hague award for top up and coming directors last year.
