My paintings attempt to create an edited down, ambiguous view of nature, a scene that does not directly depict any narrative or sense of what might be going on. In doing this I want the viewer to be left with a feeling of unknowingness. I use color,
light and point of view to edit out elements in order to create an eerie, undefined view of the natural world.
